Wellspring wind energy

The Wellspring renewable wind energy program is a voluntary program that offers wind generated electricity to cooperative members. Electricity provided by wind generation is a coordinated effort between Nobles Cooperative Electric, our power supplier, Great River Energy and 28 other distribution cooperatives.

Choosing Wellspring has a positive impact on the environment because it reduces the consumption of non-renewable resources. For example, purchasing two blocks (51 cents per block) of wind energy each month for one year is the equivalent to not driving your car 6,000 miles or planting an acre of trees.
