Capital credits

Electric cooperatives are non-profit organizations owned by the members we serve. Every year, the net margins (difference in revenue over expenses) are credited to the members through capital credits.  

Each year a notice is sent to the members to let them know what has been allocated to them based on how much energy they used in that year.

Our board of directors determines the schedule for repaying capital credits. If your address changes, be sure to notify the cooperative. Every year we have numerous past members we can no longer find. It is important for former members to keep us informed of their current address so they will receive their capital credit checks.
