Cycled Air Conditioning
Did you know?
Air conditioning can account for up to 40 percent of your home
electricity use, so it pays to make energy efficiency a priority.
How can Nobles help?
If it's time to install a new cooling unit in your home you may qualify
for a rebate. The cooperatives central air and air source heat pump
rebates require use of a Quality Installation contractor. This means the
contractor passed a certification exam, properly sizes the system and
test it for optimal performance. Here are the qualified installers in

Nobles has great incentives.
If you join our Cycled Air Conditioning Program, you will receive:
$18 off your summer electric bills
$35 credit or an installed
programmable thermostat
How does the
program work?
During peak electric demand times
Nobles Cooperative Electric (NCE) will cycle your central air
conditioner's compressor on for 15 minutes and off for 15 minutes.
Typically, this cycling occurs on the hottest days of the summer from
mid-afternoon to evening. Most members do not even notice the unit is
being cycled due to the fact that the blower fan continues to move air.
We are so confident in the program that we will remove you from the
program if you are not satisfied.
